The Blandford Fairgrounds in Blandford, Mass.


Family members began arriving at the Blandford Fairgrounds at noon. Displays were set
up, the guest book was signed, name tags were made and picnic lunches were spread on
the tables. At 1:00 President David Roberts welcomed the group and they joined in
singing the Doxology before families enjoyed the meal. Several dishes were offered to
share with the group.
The Zoom meeting began at 1:30. Everyone joined in singing the Reunion Song which
was written by her sons to celebrate Nancy’s birthday. After singing Happy Birthday to
Nancy, folks in attendance enjoyed a cake made by Steve Zavisza. Displays were
acknowledged and thanks was extended to Fair volunteers who put in extra effort to make
the accommodations welcoming for our celebration.
Before prizes were awarded, Kay Swiatek thanked Maggie Pratt Ripley for procuring
magnets to recognize this years winners. The magnets were chosen to celebrate Cecelia
Hansen Marshall who turned 100 on July 9, 2025. The design displayed a replica of the
family t-shirt that was created by Cecelia’s son, Stephen, for the 125th Reunion.

The group photo was taken after prizes were awarded. Maggie Ripley organized games for
the youngsters while Dave led the family business meeting. The secretary’s report was
accepted as printed in the Newsletter. Steve presented the treasurer’s report. The hat was
passed to support future reunions. A moment of silence was held for family members who’s
passing was reported since last year. Thomas Zavisza died June 6, 2025. Joseph S Roberts
died March 8, 2024.
Family members visited, packed up their belongings and headed for home at 4:00.
